Chongqing’s Wulong District held the themed press conference Cool Fairy Mountain · Premier Long-Stay Destination on July 8, launching comprehensive upgrades to tourism facilities, cultural and tourism offerings, and supporting services. As Chongqing’s first national tourist resort, Fairy Mountain is strategically transforming from a seasonal summer scenic spot into a high-quality year-round long-stay tourism hub.

Nestled on the 29°N livable latitude zone, the resort features an altitude of 1,100 to 1,700 meters, a pleasant average summer temperature of 21°C and a forest coverage rate exceeding 80%. Adjacent to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Three Natural Bridges and the World’s Best Tourism Village Jingzhu Village, it boasts superior ecological resources. Local authorities stressed that cool climate is merely its basic advantage, with the core focus on building a complete living service system for long-term visitors.

The resort is equipped with full-tier hospitality and medical resources, including over 630 hotels and homestays with 26,000 beds, a upgraded district hospital branch and a professional apitherapy center.
